SEO Case Studies
Here are four completely different case studies, each with unique challenges, goals, focuses, and achievements, showcasing my expertise from various perspectives
Homes Direct is the largest new manufactured home and modular home dealer on the US West Coast. I started working on this project in the summer of 2019. Got it from a colleague who left the company. Then the website traffic was 40k visitors per month. It grew before me, but slowly. The main factor that held back the growth was technical issues.
Most of the significant issues were resolved quickly, and new content ideas enabled rapid target traffic growth. By the time I left the agency in May 2021, it was 205k, and in July - 260k (550% of growth). Number of leads increased dramatically from 30 to 850 per month.
Successful SEO consulting case.
Shortly after joining the agency, in June 2018, I was entrusted with the first really big client - Gulfstream Aerospace, a world-famous business jet manufacturer. In the autumn of that year, the company began implementing our recommendations. It allowed them to double their traffic over two years, from 160k to 330k monthly visitors (according to SEMrush data, actual numbers are higher).
These results were achieved primarily by resolving technical issues and updating content to boost non-branded traffic.
The case of launching a business from scratch.
In spring 2020, walk-in notary offices were closed due to COVID. However, the demand for notary services remained high. In some U.S. states, notary services could be conducted online, making it one of the rapidly growing niches at that time.
Started working on this project in May 2020. Keyword research & content strategy were completed quickly. The first version of the website, with landing pages and initial blog articles targeting the highest search demand, was launched fast. With the help of basic link-building activities, the website started getting initial traffic quickly. But not high cause a couple of bigger companies that started running this business before COVID were getting the most benefits.
Collaborated further on content creation and technical enhancements until April 2021. This finally resulted in a significant (x10) traffic growth a couple of months later, despite by this time, many walk-in offices were already operating.
One of the more recent cases. The main task was to complete a digital transfer of the acquired industry pioneer global brand (Cooperheat) from a multi-billion company (Stork) to the newly established one (Cooperheat Equipment Ltd.). I developed and launched a basic version of the website with a recreated design in 12 days by the end of July 2023. The catalog section and some other pages were added a bit later.
After 10 days of allowing the website for indexing by Google at the end of September, it averaged 3rd position for the main search request in primary locations. In 1 month, it ranked 1st and started collecting the absolute majority of brand search requests. Achieved this goal thanks to heavily utilizing a combination of my SEO and Web Dev expertise.
