Key Strengths

1. Deep in SEO, Broad Where It Matters

I’ve never been a narrow SEO specialist. Since 2007, project after project across 20+ industries has forced me to solve very different problems and continuously expand the range of things I can do around SEO.

SEO remains the core, but over the years that work has increasingly crossed into Digital Marketing, Web Development, data, automation, APIs, AI-powered workflows & custom tooling. My strongest zone has always been at the intersection of Marketing & Technical.

That breadth helps me see problems beyond a single discipline and work effectively with developers, product & data teams. It also means I can increasingly move beyond recommendations into implementation, automation and building parts of the solution myself.

2. I’ve Been on the Other Side of the Table

I have a business/management degree and spent four years running my own offline business, a recruiting agency. That experience gave me something professional marketing experience alone couldn't: a view from the business side of the table.

It has helped me understand business pain points more deeply, make better marketing decisions in their broader context, and look beyond traffic or rankings as goals in themselves. It has also been invaluable in learning how to build and manage teams effectively.

3. Old-School Responsibility

In my case, responsibility isn’t just another soft-skill phrase that looks good on a resume. I was born and raised in Ukraine at a time when life operated by fairly simple rules: if you’re irresponsible, you pay for it. If you don’t deliver results, excuses don’t change much.

I’ve spent most of my professional life working with Western companies and international teams, so I’m fully at home in that culture and way of working. But I never lost the mindset I grew up with: responsibility is personal, excuses have limited value, and if something clearly needs to be done, you don’t wait to be pushed. For me, that combination has become an advantage.

I take initiative, look for solutions, set tasks for myself and others when needed, and care about the final outcome, not just whether my part is technically “done.” Running my own business, personal projects, and working in fast-moving teams only reinforced this.

4. Priceless Asset for Startups

Startups are where broad expertise becomes especially valuable. Time, budget & headcount are limited, and there usually isn’t a separate specialist available for every problem that suddenly needs solving.

This is where my background works particularly well. I can move between strategy, experimentation and hands-on execution, understand both the marketing and technical sides, work directly with developers, and solve a wider range of problems without creating unnecessary handoffs between five different people.

The sooner you can turn ideas into working solutions, start acquiring users and learn what actually works, the sooner you have a chance to become profitable. And the later the gray hair will come for you.

Experience

My experience spans a full-cycle digital agency, international in-house teams, startups, consulting, and enterprise environments. Since 2025, I’ve been working with Reuters in a large-scale global News & Media environment, spanning enterprise SEO across multiple products and AI SEO work for commercial content, while increasingly working at the intersection of product, engineering, data, automation & tooling.

I’m used to fast-moving environments and switching between different projects, products & industries. Working across 20+ industries taught me not to rely on one niche’s playbook. I often take approaches that worked in one environment, adapt them to a completely different problem, and find opportunities that more industry-specific thinking can miss.

Since I started in SEO in 2007, I’ve continuously worked on personal content and web projects as well. They have always been my testing ground for new SEO, Web Development and, more recently, AI & automation approaches. What proves useful there often finds its way into client and company work.
