Here is a more detailed overview of the projects I’ve worked on, roles, companies, challenges, and accomplishments.

This information can be helpful for recruiters, hiring managers, team leads, and other decision-makers at various stages of the hiring process.

Note: If you notice any formal gaps in my employment history, these are simply periods when I wasn’t employed by a company but was working independently. SEO, Digital Marketing, and Web Development have been part of my daily life since 2007.

Experience

Senior Growth Marketing Specialist / Webmaster

An industrial company invested significant resources over a short period to acquire other companies within its industry. The goal was to build an All-in-One holding that includes an equipment manufacturer, a software developer for this equipment, a distributor, and a service provider using this equipment.
Role
Overall, this role required deep expertise in both SEO and web development, with an approximate 20/80 ratio. But for the most important project (the one I was primarily hired for) the ratio was closer to 80/20.
Objectives/Problems to solve:
  • Digitally transfer the acquired industry pioneer global brand from a multi-billion company to the newly established one.
  • The websites of the acquired companies were underperforming in terms of SEO and digital marketing. Had issues with speed, maintenance, scalability, and security. They required migrations, redesigns, and optimization.
And all of this needed to be done quickly – due to the significant investments, each company had to start growing as soon as possible.
Key achievements:
  • In 10 months successfully completed 5 website migrations for existing holding’s websites and websites of acquired companies (3 of them with a redesign). Developed 1 website from scratch. Improved SEO, achieving 20-50% target traffic growth, and significantly enhanced speed performance;
  • Optimized websites for better scalability and maintenance using cutting-edge WordPress solutions like GeneratePress and GenerateBlocks; 
  • In 3 months completed the digital transfer of the acquired industry pioneer global brand (Cooperheat) from a multi-billion company (Stork) to the newly established one (Cooperheat Equipment Ltd.). 

    Developed and launched a basic version of the website with a recreated design in 12 days. Within 10 days of allowing the website for indexing by Google, it averaged 3rd position in Google SERP for the main search request in primary locations.

    In 1 month, it ranked 1st and started collecting the absolute majority of brand search requests. Achieved this goal thanks to heavily utilizing a combination of my SEO and Web Development expertise.

Digital Marketing Specialist / WordPress Developer

Role
SEO Specialist with a focus on Content Strategy and Technical SEO.
Objectives/Problems to solve:
  • Fix technical issues of the MVP website shortly after launch to avoid blockers for further SEO activities.
  • The product was entirely new to the market, with no direct competitors for analysis. The main challenge was identifying the correct target audience without the ability to research direct competition.
  • Conduct initial keyword research and develop a comprehensive content strategy for landing pages, guides, a knowledge base, blog articles, and more.
Key achievements:
  • Conducted a technical SEO audit for the MVP resource before launching a full-fledged website. Within 2 weeks removed the most critical technical SEO blockers, allowing moving forward with content SEO;
  • Ran initial keyword research to clarify the target search demand for a brand-new product. Built a semantic core and clusters for landing pages, blog, supporting content, and PPC campaigns;
  • Built a content plan and managed the content creation workflow (In-house and freelance writers).

Digital Marketer / SEO Specialist

International remote-first digital agency founded in the USA by an Austrian entrepreneur, combining the best features of both cultures and business approaches. The company had in-house Web Development and Marketing teams, with the option to extend via outsourced or freelance teams on a per-project basis. The team was typically spread across three continents and vastly different time zones, which never hindered efficient collaboration.
Role

Fast-paced agency environment. Normally, Digital Marketer/SEO Specialist was typically responsible for multiple clients of different sizes across different industries, requiring the ability to quickly switch between projects.

For clients primarily signed up for SEO services, the SEO Specialist would take full ownership of all SEO activities. This included directly assigning related tasks to other Marketing and Web Dev team members (both in-house and outsourced), providing clear instructions, and overseeing the execution to ensure successful delivery while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities/Key achievements:
  • Conducted SEO audits, keyword research, competitor analysis, built and implemented SEO strategy for 70+ clients worldwide (mainly in the USA) in 20+ industries. From small local businesses to big companies like Homes Direct (traffic growth – x5, leads growth – x28 in 2 years) or Gulfstream Aerospace (implemented by the client, traffic growth – x2 in 2 years);
  • Efficiently managed the process of fixing technical issues and implementing updates and new features by developers. Assisted other SEO specialists in the team in collaborating with developers on their projects, helping avoid potential delays and incorrect implementations;
  • Built content strategy, managed the content creation workflow, efficiently collaborating with in-house and outsourced writers. Optimized content creation has always been a key driver of organic traffic growth;
  • For complex and long-term projects, acted as a non-client-facing Project Manager, leading a fluid team of dedicated specialists: Front-end developer, Back-end developer, DevOps, Web designer, and Marketing Specialists; 
  • Was involved in assessing new SEO specialists during the hiring process, assisting the agency owner in making the right choice. I leveraged my previous experience as a recruiting agency owner to ensure a thorough evaluation of candidates.
